For the first time, the All Party Parliamentary Beer Group and the British Beer and Pub Association, along with Nestlé Professional, are launching a competition to find Britain’s best Pub Chef and Young Pub Chef of the year. The winner will be recognised with an award in Parliament.

We have some great pubs in our patch, and some really talented chefs too, so I want your views on your favourite haunt for pub food in Bromley and Chislehurst. Each MP can nominate a chef in their constituency, so if you have a favourite, please let me know and help them get their name on the map!

There’s currently a real shortage of pub chefs in the industry, and the award aims to shows what a varied and rewarding career it can be for those who are considering it.
